A Masterpiece
“Lord, I pray that you give me the eyes to see the me that you do. The me that you call “beautiful one”. The me that has been set apart from this world for a divine purpose. The me that was created without mistake. That me that is adored.” This is truly my prayer for you ladies. I pray that through the Lord’s eyes you are able to see your WORTH. His eyes cannot show you somebody else’s worth is of higher value than yours. His eyes will not allow you to belittle yourself.
His eyes will give you the ability to see your beauty made perfect through His glory. He has equipped you with the ability by giving you 24/7 access to the Scriptures. It is so easy to fall into the trap of comparison. BE CAREFUL. Comparing the way Jesus made you and someone else is very dangerous ground. When we allow the seeds of comparison to be planted in our lives, we make way for envy, bitterness and hatred to grow. All three of which will distance the relationship between you and your Creator. Comparison may be a thief of joy, but envy will hold you captive. Break the chains by letting Jesus take over and replace the inadequate, useless, and unworthy thoughts with “precious, adored, daughter of mine”. Cling to the promise of Ephesians 2:10 “For we are His masterpiece”. A masterpiece isn’t made to be hidden. A masterpiece is designed to stand out. It is the master’s most outstanding work.
You are on display.
Don’t focus on the beauty of another masterpiece. You may miss out on the divine purpose the Master has for you.
